Yeovil Without Parish Council
Introduction
The Parish Council is composed of three wards with five members in each ward Brimsmore (1765 Electors) Combe (Combe CSY 1566 and Combe CSAY 276 electors) and Lyde (1822 electors)
The Parish Council meets monthly on the last Tuesday of each month except for the Precept Meeting the third Tuesday in November, second Tuesday in December and fourth Tuesday in January.
There are five Parish Noticeboards. Outside the play area in Johnson Park, outside the shop in Wessex Road, next to the bus shelter at Hundredstone, Mudford Road, outside the shop in Cavalier Way and outside the Church Hall in Yeovil Marsh. Agendas, notices and Councillors and the Clerk's names, addresses and telephone numbers are displayed on the Noticeboards. The Clerk's telephone number is also displayed on the play area sign in Johnson Park play area and the Parish Council's allotment gate at Yeovil Marsh.
Management and Administration
Joint representation on the Yeovil Cemetery and Crematorium Committee with South Somerset District Council, Yeovil Town Council and Brympton Parish Council. Part owner of the Crematorium with South Somerset District Council
The Parish owns an allotment field with 21 allotments and an area of redundant allotment land rented out to grass keep.
There is one play area that the Parish Council maintain at Johnson Park the land is owned by Yeovil Sports Club.

There are 22 Parish Council Allotments currently all let. Should you wish to be added to the waiting list then please contact the Clerk.
Rent is £11.50 a year from 1st April each year.
